KUMIO Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KUMIO mobile application and related services (the "Service"), provided by Telivia LLC ("Telivia", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What KUMIO does
KUMIO is a personal memory assistant. You tell it things you want to remember — by text, voice, or photo — and you can later ask for them in natural language and receive reminders. The Service uses artificial intelligence to transcribe, organize, and retrieve what you save.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. One person may not maintain more than one free account.
3. Your content
Everything you save in KUMIO — text, voice notes, photos, and related metadata — is your content ("Your Memories"). You keep all rights to Your Memories. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Service: to store, process, transcribe, index, and display Your Memories back to you, and to send you the reminders you configure. We do not sell Your Memories, and we do not use them to train public AI models.
4. AI features and accuracy
Answers, summaries, and transcriptions are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. KUMIO is a memory aid, not a professional advisor: do not rely on it as your only record for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical matters. Always verify important information.
5. Subscriptions and billing
KUMIO offers a free tier with a limited number of memories and paid subscriptions ("KUMIO Premium") with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and processed by Apple; prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law or by Apple's policies.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; upload content you do not have the right to store; attempt to access another user's data; probe, scan, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or circumvent usage limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Reminders and notifications
Reminders are delivered on a best-effort basis through push notifications and email. Delivery can be delayed or prevented by device settings, connectivity, or third-party providers. KUMIO is not liable for a missed reminder.
8. Service availability and changes
We may improve, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect your stored content, and you will always be able to export Your Memories before a shutdown takes effect.
9. Export and deletion
You can export Your Memories from the app at any time, and you can delete your account and all associated data from Settings. Deletion is permanent once completed.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telivia's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address, and continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
